In anticipation of up to 3″ of snow more snow, sleet, and freezing rain to come, we decided to take the safety precaution to POSTPONE our Jan. 28 meeting to TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2009, at 7:00 pm. The weather wasn’t much better, but we had about a dozen active people who attended.
- John Palomaki presented the new Sustainable Jersey program that will certify towns going green, and went over the action items that Bloomfield could easily achieve.
- We discussed plans for a Bloomfield Earth Day event that would include a Green Fest, seminars, and tables for green businesses and non-profits.
- During introductions, members talked about their New Year’s “Greener” Resolutions
