Earth Day may be on April 22, but Greener Bloomfield and the Bloomfield Recycling Committee will be extending the celebration to an event on Saturday, May 2, at Brookside Park. The next Greener Bloomfield meeting will be on Thursday, February 26, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. in the Bloomfield Civic Center. We’ll go over the launch event for Sustainable Jersey and focus on the Earth Day event that we’re co-sponsoring with the Bloomfield Recycling Committee. Please RSVP!
Despite the snow and the date change, an enthusiastic group participated in the Greener Bloomfield meeting on Feb. 3.
